(Volunteers, Ambassadors, Cadets Needed) YMCA Fishing Education Day

YMCA Angler Education Rotation
TIME: 9:00am – 4:00pm
(MORNING ROTATIONS) 9:00am – 12pm – 3hr rotations with 5-7 yr olds (roughly 80)
(AFTERNOON ROTATIONS) 1pm – 4:00pm – 3hr rotations with 8-11 yr olds (roughly 80)
Fishing’s Future will find more volunteers to run the station.
YMCA Staffers will be educated along the trail and will help at the fishing station
YMCA STAFFERS
5 yr old's (1 per 6 campers)
6-11 yr old's (1 per 10 campers)
The camps will be broken into 4 groups of @20 (may be less)
The rotations stations are
A – Fish ID
B – KNOTS
C – TACKLE (BASIC)
D – Casting – Backyard Bass
E – Fishing
Groups will start at either A,B,C,D to get CASTING in before going fishing.
Groups will stay at station for 30 min. They will have 3 min walk time to the next station.
To Save Time and to start rotations by 9:10am (Morning) and 1:10pm (Afternoon) , staffers will know
what group they are and where they need to be.
Signs will be posted at each station
