No Experience Necessary

This FREE workshop is open to anyone (13)14 -17 years of age with parent or guardian approval, interested in learning to teach fishing skills and aquatic conservation concepts in your classroom, community, or organization. The program provides the curriculum, equipment (where available), materials and support to help Ambassadors successfully introduce youth and adults to fishing. Ideal for High School Bass Fishing Teams, youth fishing programs, youth group leaders, afterschool or camp staff, or youth interested in sharing their love of fishing.

Once the Ambassador turns 18 years old, they can become a Texas Parks & Wildlife Certified Angler Instructor.

Workshop Date: Oct. 4, 2026 (Saturday)

TIME: Arrive at 4:30pm and Food will be served at 4:45pm

WORSHOP STARTS: 5:00PM - 9:00PM
